the long wait begins
Well last night was the start of a long separation of our family. Robbie and I took Lani to her work so she can go to Iraq. it was hard leaving her and hope she comes home soon as we all ready miss her. Robbie handled it well till we got home and he saw mommy's van in the garage and then broke down and cried the rest of the evening. We both miss her very much. We got an email this morning from her from Germany and by now she should be somewhere near Kuwait. cant wait to talk to her soon. well that's about it for now .

Ryan, I am a faithful reader of Lani's blog. I had talked to her a couple of times via email. I know her from the CrossStitchPals message board. I would tear up every time she talked about leaving you guys. I am proud of you both for what you have done for our country. I wish Lani Godspeed on her journey and will hope for an early return. Tell Robbie we are all proud of him for letting his Mommy go to Iraq. I know you will feel better once you can actually talk to her. Hang in there.

Ryan, I too am a faithful reader of Lani's Blog. Give Robbie a hug and tell him he's a very brave boy.
